q: do you accept custom orders?

Yes! all Very Fine South items are handmade, and many are made to order. If there's something you'd like customized, please send us a note to start a conversation.

q: where do your textiles come from?

Most of the fabrics are hand dyed by Very Fine South to achieve the variety of vivid colors used in many of the products.  Printed fabrics are sourced from all over - anywhere we can find unique designs that feel good against the skin.  We always use fabrics that are woven from natural fibers, and strive to use organic wherever possible.

q: where do your product names come from?

You can read about the Enso line here. All of the canvas wares are named for Laura's Grandmothers, Great Grandmothers, Great Aunts & Uncles - all of the southern ladies and gents who provided a lot of love, wisdom and inspiration.   The Tsalagi line (pronounced chah-lah-kee) honors Laura's Cherokee heritage.

q: why do you keep saying "we"?  isn't Very Fine South just one person?

While all of the products are designed and hand crafted by Laura, there's a whole team behind the scenes that make it all possible.  You know who you are - THANK YOU!
